The Story of Wishsticks

The name Wishsticks was born in 2001 with the idea of sending good wishes and healing to friends and family in the form of a candlestick. This developed into Wishsticks Wellbeing, in a similar theme of sending healing but with Reiki and natural energy treatments and courses.

My Background

Before becoming a Reiki Teacher and Intuitive Coach, I previously held operations and management positions within a variety of industries. These included general insurance, financial services, PR, further education and finally as a director of a contemporary art gallery.

Throughout this time I had an interest in Reiki. I first qualified in 2001 and gave treatments to friends and family. When I took a break from the business world to have children, my work as a Reiki Practitioner and Teacher began.

I fully understand the stresses of being involved in business, running a family and trying to keep all those balls in the air at once! I enjoy being able to help clients cope with their busy lifestyles. Reiki brings back balance which enables us to think clearly, re-energise and relax.

How I can help

As well as offering treatments, I also run courses in the UK and internationally to teach Reiki . Students may with to learn for their personal well-being; some undertake training to set up their own practice or become teachers. I also offer courses to help people understand and rebalance energy, intuition, crystal healing, chakras and Connecting with Nature. For those who are interested, I help them to explore the spiritual side of energy healing, but this is not necessary to enjoy the benefits of Reiki treatments.

I produce Reiki candles, Reflection Cards and Artwork for healing and rebalancing at home or in the workplace. All are available in my online gift shop or when attending courses or treatments.

My private home studio “The Retreat” is tucked away in the Hertfordshire countryside and I love to share this little oasis of calm. It creates the opportunity to step outside the busy-ness of every day life and take time to revitalise in the peace and quiet.

I am a fully initiated Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher and Master Teacher Member of the UK Reiki Federation. I undertake Continuing Professional Development to further my knowledge in Reiki and other areas of healing and spirituality. I hold full professional indemnity insurance.
